The Stakeholder Engagement Committee (SEC) provides timely input to the Workers' Safety and Compensation Commission. The Committee Chairperson (internal to the WSCC) calls upon SEC Members to provide input on specific WSCC topics. This feedback helps facilitate WSCC policy creation, decision-making, and program delivery.
SEC members receive a quarterly honorarium of $275 ($1,100 per year), based on their level of participation. Terms are for two years. The SEC is comprised of members representing a variety of stakeholders, including workers, employers, and members of the general public, from across the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
